Hi, I am reading SMS specs. According to the spec, these two reports should be carried as a RP User Data element within an RP-ACK PDU if porsitive acknowledged. But I cannot find them in any RP-ACK I have. Are these two reports mandatory or optional? According to 23.040, too, a report shall always be returned to the SC; either confirming that the MS has received the short message, or informing the SC that it was impossible to deliver the short message TPDU to the MS, including the reason why. On the other direction, it is similar. Is this report = SMS DELIVER REPORT? If so, why I cannot find SMS DELIVER REPORT in RP-ACK? Is because of implemetation of different operator?
