Hi Bryce,

I had a look at some information you have given regarding streaming with MMS in this site.

I have the following assumptions for providing streaming support for MMS client.

1. We can use WAP to download an MMS which contains an sdp file.

2. We must have RTSP, RTP and RTCP support to download and control streaming media.

Plz let me know if I my assumptions are correct.

Thanx in advance

Hi Murali,

That is the way that I interpret it.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen any clients that implement this yet ... but your assumptions match my interpretation of the specifications.

Hi,

I also would like to know if any free source code available for RTSP, RTP and RTCP protocols. I believe these protocols are not as heavy as TCP/IP.

I would appreaciate if you can give me such a sample.

You can find the link of that post by bryce, in the main page of this site. OR search for video streaming in mms. Also this page has some pointers to useful links and specs.
