I need to develop a mms gateway using a modem. I am not a WASP, so I need to send MMS as a regular subscriber do. Can someone tell me what protocols I need to use to do this? Or perhaps give some url where I can get some info. I am also open for collaboration. I have looked for an open source project like this and so far found none. I am planning to release this project as open source. | |||

You should probably look at http://www.mbuni.org/ -- it is an Open Source MMS Gateway based partly on Kannel and probably answers your needs. | |||

Hi I am trying to send MMS message using Phone to GSM Modem. i am not able to get the MMS image in MMS-IN directory. here are the setting i am doing 1. Using Nokia30 Modem 2. Airtel Mumbai Operator MMS Server - 100.1.201.171:10021/mmsc Specific Network Connection - Modem: Nokia30(Cable) Wap Gateway - 100.1.201.172 Modem Used - Nokia30 (Cable) GPRS APN - airtelmms.com Login - My mobile number including countrycode and password airtel password i have check on Receive to MMS-IN Directory 3. I have also check 2-way Process Received SMS Message Process Received MMS Message at default location that is MMS-IN directory 4. MMSC Routing Added new account with same details as mention in MMS Setting (SMSC Tab) same as point 2 5. I am able to receive the SMS-IN director with binary string but MMS-IN directory is empty as well as MMSINQ is also empty Is there anything else i need to set or i am making mistake in the above setting.. | |||
