1- distribution list, i think smpp protocol itself provides submit_sm_multi wish allows sending to multiple destination, i know that nowsms has distribution list, however i think nowsms distribution list map into multiple submit_sm and not submit_sm_multi. 2-long sms with payload: i think nowsms uses udh to concatenate sms on destination, my provider requires me to test the long sms with payload. 3-MMS with distribution list for mms :D Well i hope someone here can shed some light, Thanks | |||

Hi, 1 - No. NowSMS always uses multiple submit_sm. This is for maximum compatibility. 2 - If the "WDP Adaptation" setting is enabled, NowSMS sends long messages using message_payload. (There is a side effect that all WAP Push messages get sent using "data_sm" instead of "submit_sm".) 3 - What is the question? -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

For 3- i mean sending mms to distribution list, i am not sure what exactly they meant by that, bu i guess they mean send mms with one soap post, several recipients or something similar. Is it supported ? For 1- Isn't there anyway to allow it, just for testing, maybe a patch... Thanks | |||

3. Yes, a single SOAP post can include multiple recipients. 1. No, we do not have any plans to support submit_sm_multi at this time. It is not very widely supported or implemented in other SMPP environments, and there is not a compelling reason to support it. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
