When trying to do a submit_sm to a Huwaei SMSC i dont get any submit_sm response instead i get a TCP message ACK followed by PSH ACK with the following data stream appended 00 00 00 10 80 00 00 04 00 00 04 30 00 00 00 04 This looks like a submit_sm response but its in an TCP PSH ACK ! anybody has a clue as what is wrong here? Does the Huawei SMSC demand any TLV parameters for its submit_sm? | |||

I'd leave the low level TCP protocol details to the TCP stack. That is a submit_sm response packet with an error code of 0x430. 0x430 is a provider specific error code. It is not likely an issue with the manufacturer (Huawei) of the SMSC, but rather a policy of the SMS provider. The SMS provider might require some TLV parameter if you are sending premium rate SMS. You need to refer to documentation from your provider to determine what the 0x430 error means to them. Here's a link to SMPP error codes, but that one is clearly in the provider specific range: http://www.nowsms.com/smpp-error-code-reference |
