Hi I'm using now sms. when I send mms in the Send MMS Message, I enable the Forward Lock. When I select Forward Lock "yes", what kind of DRM do I send mms? Combined Delivery type or Separate Delivery type? | |||

Hi Johnny, Forward lock is a combined delivery type. Note that forward lock is not applied as an attribute of the MMS message itself, but only to content objects within the MMS message. When NowSMS applies forward lock, it does NOT apply it to the text of the message. Separate delivery isn't practical for MMS messages. With separate delivery, the content is protected/encrypted and delivered in one message. The encryption key and rights object for the content is delivered in a separate WAP push message. The content is inaccessible until the rights object WAP push message is received. You can use the DRMCOMP utility to experiment with separate delivery. Unfortunately, there are a lot of phones that do not support OMA DRM (especially combined delivery). -- Des NowSMS Support |
