Hi, I am using Ericsson MM7 SDK to send MMS Messages to MMSC server. It successfully sends and reaches the phone. everything fine. When I try to send SMIL file, It is not automcatically displays as Play mode. It just displays as list files. Not jumping from one slide to other slide automatically. But it works with panasonic & simens phones. Do I need to do anything extra for Nokia phones. I am using nokia 6620, 3200 models. I tried various smil files and various nokia models but no luck. SMIL file ====== <smil><head><layout><root-layout/> <region id="region1_2" top="0" left="0" height="50%" width="100%"/> <region id="region2_2" top="50%" left="0" height="50%" width="100%"/> </layout> </head> <body> <par dur="2025ms"> <img src="relax.gif" region="region1_2"/> <text src="greetings.txt" region="region2_2" end="2000ms"> <param name="foreground-color" value="#000000"/> <param name="textsize" value="normal"/> </text> </par> <par dur="3000ms"> <text src="hello.txt" region="region1_2"> <param name="foreground-color" value="#000000"/> <param name="textsize" value="normal"/> </text> <img src="yellowfl.gif" region="region2_2"/> </par> </body></smil> Any ideas/suggestions. Hi Bala, I think the Nokia phones which you tried DO NOT have support for presentation language(like SMIL, XHTML and WML). i.e. multipart.related type of MMS message. So when such a phone receives an MMS with SMIL in it, the SMIL component is discarded and each component is shown one after the other. So check out for more info abt the phone's capability in the user manual or in the nokia forum site. Cheers Murali | |||

plz bala, can u tell me how to download the Ericsson MM7 SDK??? i am a master student, doing my thesis in MMS and Emails, if u help me i will be thankfull, i wish also if i can have ur email to contact u or call u cos i am trying to send MMS and u said here that u already sent it successfully!! what i need also to know how did u send the MMS?? i mean what MMSC u used?? i mean is there a MMSC emulator online??? my email is haqattan@hotmail.com, i am waiting ur reply at my email | |||
