Hi All, we are currently deploying a new MMSC withe a local vendor and for the trans-coding purpose, vendor is asking us to provide the handset list for trans-coder engine. can someone help me to find out whether there is such list available what are the criteria to be considered when deciding the list for trans-coding appreciate your help and guide on this matter thanks JA | |||

Hi JA, That doesn't make sense to me. Are they asking for a list of what handsets you use (a reasonable question), or are they asking for technical information about all of the handsets that you use? If they are asking for you to provide the technical information ... I would argue that is the vendor's responsibility. The NowSMS MMSC obtains this information dynamically as handsets connect to the MMSC based upon the user-agent profile. We do not require whoever is deploying the MMSC to provide such a list. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
