hi .. I want to send sms and mms using php script, what the operator MMSC connection should be used. MM1 or MM7? what is the difference between MM1 and MM7. now I'm using MM1 to MMSC routing process. and everything is ok until now. What I will find difficult later if I use MM1 not MM7? | |||

Hi, The MM1 interface can be used with a standard GSM modem and SIM provisioned as a regular mobile phone account with your mobile operator. To use MM7, you must have a special VASP (value added service provider) account with your mobile operator (your mobile operator might call it a content provider account). The MM7 interface does not use a modem, it connects over the internet (sometimes with a VPN), and is usually much more expensive. If your needs change in the future, it is simple to change the NowSMS routing from MM1 to MM7. -- Des NowSMS Support |
