Is there a way in nowsms to find or read the sim number(IMSI) from a modem...may be update somewhere in SMSOUT LOG file..

Or any possibility of creating a sim log file by changing smsgw.ini file...

Hi,

If the SMSDEBUG.LOG is enabled, you could add the following to the [Modem - xxx] section of SMSGW.INI

CommandPostInit1=AT+CIMI

This would add the command to the modem init sequence and the response would be logged to SMSDEBUG.LOG.

Hi,

Thank you for prompt and correct reply. I changed the smsgw.ini file and got the IMSI number.

Now, is there a simple way to count the total sms sent from each modem...apart from reading smsout file.

Any possibility to maodify tje smsgw.ini file to get the total count.

How does it show on the status page of html( web nowsms on localhost/127.0.0.1

The best way to do it is with the XML Status query.
