Hello, I seeked for an answer on internet and on this forum but found no real answer (not any I could understand at least).

I have created a midi ringtone and I would like to send it to my Nokia phone (3510i) over the internet using an SMS sender.

To be honest I have no idea on how to proceed and any help would be welcome.

Thanks
Loceka.

Thank you for answering Ludmil

I dont think you understood what the matter was, actually. I didnt ask for ads about an online SMS sender ; I asked if it was possible (and how) to turn a music file into a code that could be sent in a SMS or MMS and recognized as a ringtone by the 3510i Nokia phone. Thus I could create my own ringtone on my computer and send it to me over the net with an online SMS or MMS sender.

What I only need is the very code my phone does understand in order to convert my music file into this code.

If it is a polyphonic one, you have to send it through MMS or WAP. I think WAP is the way to go. Just put it online and retrive it through WAP. You can do this by NowSMS, but you need to connect a phone to your PC.

If it's monophonic, you have to convert it to Nokia Bin. There are several softs that can do this. The best I think it's Ringtone Convertor from Coding Workshop. After you do this, just send a SMS with the Binary String. This program also converts a midi into Nokia Composer so you can just type it into your Nokia, with no need of SMS, MMS or WAP.
