Hello, I have just bought a new Camera phone Motorola E365 and I'm trying to send an MMS to my friend in Sri Lanka who is on Dialog GSM network but neither of us can send or recieve the MMS, does anyone know why??(both phones are the same model) I can send and recieve SMS and GIF pictures which were pre-loaded on the phone (is this an MMS?) but It just refuses to send photo MMS! I'm on the Virgin Mobile Network in the UK, Both networks say they support MMS. Is it something to do with the size of the picture? as the GIF is smaller?? or do the networks have to be affiliated for roaming to send MMS internationally? Any Advise is much Appreciated Please Help! Thank You Heather

I have been trying to do this from America to the Philippines as well, using Cingular. Cingular does not support overseas MMS. Call your carrier and ask, they may not support it as well. The work around I have found is that she can send an MMS to my email account, which I can then email to my cellphone. I can also send an MMS to her email account (yahoo), but right now we are getting errors on her cellphone email when we try to send to it (from another email).

Chikka claims to allow you to send MMS to phones in the Philippines, but I have not been able to get it to work yet.

Most operators have not implemented International MMS yet. Although the end user should get some sort of MMS legacy experience if it is not supported |
