Hi, there is some problem in displaying the concatenated long messages - sample text which we are using for concatenation is - "The Now SMS/MMS Newsletter will help you keep up-to- date with information about new releases of the Now SMS/MMS Gateway. It will also offer tips and advice on SMS." length of this text is 164, so it will form 2 sms. PDU data formed is - part 1 - 0051000c911989685770660000009f050003010201547419E47CDF41D3E6F4D56C4E41CEF27DCE2E D3E96539E89E66B341E8321B0ECABFEBA075B90C07D5E12DFABB052287E965D03D4D4783D26EF35B DE0ED3D36F37282C7ED7E92077F90E9297D9E5F0BC3C07BDCD203ABA0C72BEEFA06973FA6A36A7A0 63985EBE87F32E50920EBAA7D96C50983D7F83DE6673590EA2A7E17350D84D0685C976 part 2 - 0051000c9119896857706600000011050003010202E97119F47683A6CDA90B Using GSM Modem the above buffer is sent successfully. At the recipient end, message is concatenated but displaying junk characters. I feel there is some problem in UDL calculation. Can u please tell us what's the problem? waiting eagerly for ur reply. I am also facing the same problem using the trial version of NowSMS 5.51a 20050207. 1. Was able to send a long text message via NowSMS Web Interface if the Option is unchecked ( Send Long Text Messages using 7-bit encoding ), using the SMPP interface to the SMSC. However when a SMPP client connected to NowSMS sent a message received a single garbled message. 2. When I checked the option ( Send Long Text Messages using 7-bit encoding ) I can receive the long message but as two separate messages not concatenated. 3. Am connected to a GSM service provider does the TDMA network support Long Concatenated Text Messages or not. | |||
