I've recently discovered the Reply Address Element in the list over UserDataHeaderInformationElementIdentifiers (Hex-code 22).

I'm not quite sure what this EI means, but I think this is maybie a way of sending a SMS with a different ReplyAddress than the actually originated address.

Here is an example of what I mean:
The number 99 99 99 99 sends a SMS to 88 88 88 88, and when the cellphone presses Reply/Answer-SMS, the Reply Address Element will be active and showing forexample the cell-number 77 77 77 77.

Anyway I've tried this, and sendt a SMS using a GSM-modem, but only the originating number will be Replyable. This could mean 3 things:

1. I've done something wrong.
2. I've totally misunderstood the meaning of the InformationElement.
3. The receiving cellphone did not support this feature in the protocol.

Can anyone please help me getting an answer to this?

If it's 2, please explain the real meaning.
