recently, I made a test of WAP in Europe, I used our own User Agent to build in software image and downloaded to our handset, and I used Vodafone SIM to access WAP homepage, it is OK to view, but if I changed the User Agent of Nokia3650 then access WAP homepage, "page is too large error" always show up. I know Gateway and/or WAP server of Vodafone must have done something like pre-verifying or filtering, but, can anybody tell me what they exactly do for different User Agent, are they dealing with UAprof meanwhile? if they use UAprof, does the according UAprof reside in Server side or the place where a URL be linked(this URL is hardcoded in software image in handset)??
