A customer that is using a gateway called WAPlite is experiencing errors when there is a redirect as a response to an http GET. Same traffic over some other wap gw works fine. Will the WAP3GX handle this situation correctly?

I recall some connection problems with the Nokia 9210 and WAP3GX when dealing with redirects to longer URLs.

I just tried some tests with a 9210 and the v2.18 build of WAP3GX on the web site, and didn't encounter any problems.
