I have created a small wap file for testing purposes. I have put the wml file on a http server. I can access the site fine via the gelon.net browser, but i get an Unknown File format error when trying to access the wap page via my Nokia 7250, which is on the vodafone network. The site can be found here : http://www.hud.ac.uk/hubs/wap/index.wml Any ideas on why this is happening ? Do i need to access the site via a "gateway" ? or does vodafone provide that functionality when i connect ? | |||

The problem is with content-type. Your page has content-type text/plain but correct content-type is text/vnd.wap.wml. You must set this content-type for extension *.wml on your web server. | |||
