Hello,

I am kind of new in the WAP world - does anybody know why there is a maximum size of the file to be transmitted?

E.g. if you transfer an MMS via WAP the message size is limited. Of course there is the handset limitation but I understood there is also a limit in the WAP gateway ... does anybody know where this comes from? (and how you can enlarge the size?)

Thanks
Jamie

The limit set in the WAP gateway is unique to the gateway itself, ie how your service provider has configured it. To find out what limit may have been set speak to your service provider. Many Telcos these days no longer set a limit due to increase demand in MMS, Video messaging and general content.
