Hi All!

I am seeking some good advice. I am looking for the most stable GSM modem available on the market.

-Do you have any recommendations? or any links that support one modem for another (some comparisons would be nice!)? Good links also
appriciated!

Thanks in advance! :-)

Have a look at Wavecom's products: http://www.wavecom.com/modules/movie/scenes/support/index.php?fuseAction=publicA rea. Some time ago, sonyericsson also manufactured gsm modems but sonyericsson's m2m product lines have been sold to wavecom. (see http://www.wavecom.com/modules/movie/scenes/media/index.php?fuseAction=newsRelea se&rubric=WMnewsCorporate&article=WMWavecomToAcquireSonyEricssonsM2MBusiness&rub ric_parentRubricRealId=29&rubric_level=3). Like sonyericsson, Nokia manufactured gsm modems (e.g. Nokia 30) some time ago. I can't find information about these products on the nokia website now, except this page http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/resources/technologies/nokia_m2m/index.html, which asks you to visit http://www.aplicom.com/.

If you are looking for pc card gsm modems, Nokia D211 (http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,,18189,00.html) and SE GC89 (http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=gb&lc=en&ver=4000&template=pp5&zone=pp&l m=pp5) are two choices that you might consider.

Not at all. I forgot to mention about http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/4218.html last time. It has a discussion of some gsm modems and mobile phones that are compatible with nowsms.
